Whether you are hoping to soak up the sun in the park over Bank Holiday weekend or planning a day out to somewhere new, we’ve put together some of our favourite event and activity ideas to inspire you for the weekend ahead.

1. Luna Cinema - Nationwide 

 

The first event on everyone’s Bank Holiday plans should be the UK’s no.1 outdoor cinema experience at with Luna’s Cinema. Especially with Barbie bedazzling the box office and colouring the world pink this summer. Barbie is now stepping onto The Luna’s Cinema screens, one pink sparkly heel at a time.


Enjoy movies such as Top Gun: Maverick to Elvis, to Grease and everything in between. Luna Cinema have every occasion covered whether you’re out with friends or even on a first date, there’s something for everyone in the majestic surroundings of the UK spots including Wimbledon Park, Lincoln Castle, Waddesdon Manor and Chatsworth House.    

 

 

 

2. Notting Hill Carnival – London

 

Notting Hill Carnival is here for another year, and it should be on your list this Bank Holiday. Europe’s biggest street festival where you can enjoy elaborate creative floats, thousands of colourful costumes, talented performers and a kaleidoscope of music as they make their way through West London.

Even better? Embrace the spirt of the weekend and try various traditional Caribbean dishes over the weekend. There will also be live music, DJ’s and plenty of activities for all ages to enjoy.

3. Malton Food Lovers Festival – North Yorkshire

 

 

 For all the food lovers, this festival should be a top priority on your Bank Holiday weekend plans list. Set across the streets of Yorkshire’s food capital, Malton Food Lovers Festival is a celebration of Yorkshire’s finest local produce and cooking. Enjoy expert artisan stalls, delicious street food, live celebrity chef talks and tastings, plus enjoy a festival bar, live music and so much more!

4. Manchester Pride – Manchester

 

Manchester Pride Festival is back this Bank Holiday weekend celebrating the LGBTIQA+ community! Manchester Pride Festival brings thousands of people to the streets of Manchester. Each year, the parade is given a theme and for 2023, the theme is 'Queerly Beloved’ - a celebration of love, community, self-expression, and the transformative power of dance.

Whether you’re celebrating around the Canal Street area at a lively outdoor Gay Village party or watching the city's biggest parade on Saturday 26th August, the Manchester Pride Festival hosts a variety of events up and around the city.

5. Gone Wild Festival – Devon

 

Lastly but certainly not least, we’re excited for the Gone Wild Festival in Devon. A family-oriented festival is brought to you by Bear Grylls. Prepare for heaps of adventure including a nerf combat arena or learn a range of survival skills like fire lighting and shelter building all-inclusive in the ticket.

There’s something for everyone with silent discos, yoga classes and live music from artists like The Sugababes and Feederit's a festival you don’t want to miss!
