Era’s Tour Outfits (French Connection Version)

Author Emily Pywell - 5 minute read
So you did it, you succeeded in the great ticket war and are on your way to The Era’s Tour this summer. But you’re not out of the woods yet, you still need to find an outfit for the occasion. We know all too well how important style is to you, so look what you’ve made us do, we’ve written a guide to have you covered.

Dear reader, worry not, as we have outfit ideas for every favourite.

DEBUT

If you’re a dedicated Debut fan, then you’ll be reaching for denim and cowboy boots. Our Denim Stretch Trucker Jacket is a summer outerwear style perfect for an outside concert that will never go out of fashion, and we adore teaming it with matching bleached out jeans for co-ordinated double denim. Alternatively, a Denim Midi Skirt makes for a perfect ensemble when worn with a floral top. To really go the extra mile, take the country in your stride and top it off with a straw hat.

FEARLESS

For a concert you’ll remember forever and always, we’re channelling the Midas touch with glistening gold and sequin dresses. Our Deniz Embellished Mini Dress is a knock-out dress for special occasions, and therefore ideal as a Fearless Era’s Tour outfit idea. Shimmering sequins will never go out of fashion, and our Star Diamante Cascade Earrings will compliment with even further shine. Another style that belongs in your wardrobe for this era is our Ronja Liquid Metal Shirt, a metallic must-have with superstar written all over it.

SPEAK NOW

In search of an enchanting Speak Now themed outfit? We’ve got the goods. Inspired by the album cover itself, a purple dress makes for an electric ensemble. Our Echo Crepe Mini Dress is an understated mini dress, switched up with accessories from statement necklaces to hair clips, and we think our Faux Pearl Hair Clip (Set of 2) will both compliment and keep your hair out of your eyes no matter how manic your dancing. Less is more with our Arla Hallie Crinkle Halterneck Dress, accentuated with crossover halterneck straps, frill times and a floaty skirt, we know this will be perfect for summer evening shows.

RED

We had no trouble being inspired to create Red inspired outfits. The possibilities for your ensembles are endless, with one colour at the centre. If you’re looking to go bold, look no further than our striking all-in-one Rever Wide Leg Plain Jumpsuit with a flattering wide leg fit and fierce scarlet shade. I don’t know about you, but if more casual is more your forte then our Stripe Rib Dress might just be your lucky one. Of course, no Red look is complete without a Felt Trilby Hat.

1989

Stressing over your 1989 outfit? Shake it off, we’ve got styles galore. Welcome colourful and sequinned clothes into the wardrobe to channel this album, and complete the look with the signature red lipstick. Our Saskia Eydie Ruched Midaxi Dress flaunts every colour of the rainbow, with a side split allowing for plenty of movement to dance your heart out. Speaking of dancing, sequins will catch every stage light from every angle, so our Azariah Sequin Mini Dress will make you unmissable amongst the crowd. A bag is a concert must-have, our Jeenaa X Metallic Envelope Bag is our pick for this era’s ensembles.

REPUTATION

We’ve put together an outfit for the rebellious Reputation fans… are you ready for it? If this album is your favourite, think faux leather, snake print and layered jewellery. Our Gloss Straight Leg Jeans are the ideal trousers for the occasion with a smooth glossy finish, and we know you’ll wear them again and again. There’s no other belt for a Reputation Era’s Tour outfit than our Snake Twist Belt, and if you wear our Snake Smooth Georgette Popover Shirt there’ll be no confusion in the crowd over which era you’re most excited for. Just don’t blame us when you’re the best dressed attendee…

LOVER

Our summer is going to be anything but cruel when sound-tracked by the show of the year. There’s only one colour if you’re a Lover stan, and that’s looking pretty in pink. A pink dress keeps it flirty and feminine, and the frills of our Frill Bardot Mini Dress are perfect for adding movement when dancing along, whilst our Ribbed Jersey Bow Back Mini Dress features a sweet bow upon the back for lover-vibes at every angle. There’s no better finishing touch than our Heart Huggie Hoop Earrings, which we’ll pick over paper rings any day.

FOLKLORE

This is no hoax, if your favourite album is Folklore, then we have the outfits you’re after. The best fit for this theme is a free-flowing dress, and either colourway of our Cora Tiered Midi Dress fit the bill with puff sleeves, a flattering smocked waist and tiered skirt. Another stylish midi dress to fit this era’s theme is our Abra Embroided Mesh Midi Dress, with divine embroidery and mesh layers. If your favourite song is Mirrorball, then our Axel Embellished Midi Dress is a wildcard choice. All that’s missing is your cardigan (but we stock those too!).

EVERMORE

Long story short, if you’re  channelling Evermore, then you’ve come to the right place. To recreate the album cover for your Instagram feed, our Dandy Check Coat understands the assignment, but if you’re not looking to take a coat to the concert then we have theme-fitting dresses too. One of our top picks is our Ivy Check Dress, carrying the classic print across to a relaxed silhouette in tonal shades, whilst our Dani Eco Check Delphine Midi Skirt presents them in ivy tones. If you’re partial to a floral dress, you’ll adore our Francine Callie Drape Smocked Midi Dress, with its ditsy print and romantic old-school styling accompanied by two playful side splits.

MIDNIGHTS

If Midnight has struck as your favourite album, then you’ll consider us masterminds at this outfit inspiration. Dear reader, this era calls for deep blues and purple hues. Our Eva Harlow Recycled Satin Swing Mini Dress is a spirited pick, mixing a playful halterneck with a captivating abstract print. Don’t go thinking you would’ve, should’ve, could’ve dressed up warmer, as our Meena Fluffy Cardigan is on hand to keep you cosy during the encore and commute home. Don’t forget to bejewel with glitz jewellery, our Square Stone Link Earrings effortlessly channel the Midnights dress-code.

TORTURED POETS DEPARTMENT

Now don’t get us wrong, we’re getting ahead of ourselves and don’t yet know what would best suit Tortured Poets Department, but we do know that the album cover is black and white, and you can never go wrong with a little black dress. Our Echo Crepe Lace Dress adds a lace touch to its side for understated elegance, whilst our Whisper Bow Strappy Mini Dress is loud and proud in monochrome with a contrasting bow and removable straps. Bold earrings are a trend to watch this summer, and they don’t come much more striking than our Metal Floral Drop Earrings.

We hope you have the most amazing time attending, and we can’t wait to see your outfit photos on our timelines!
