Whether it’s a romantic dinner, trip to the cinema to devour some popcorn or it’s all a bit of a surprise, knowing what to wear on date night isn’t always the easiest. After all, you want to look your best but also need to be dressed appropriately for the location.
So, we’ve taken the most popular date nights and put together outfits just so you’re always prepared.
Cinema
Comfort, tick. Style, tick. Off-duty coolness, tick.
Pair with the biggest order of popcorn that you can find and indulge in the ultimate cinema experience. For us, heading to the movies is potentially the best date night – after a long day or week at work, whilst we really enjoy letting our hair down, sometimes there is nothing better than indulging in cinema snacks and catching a good new release.
That said, you could always make things interesting and opt for an outside showing. The Luna Cinema have locations all over the country and many make an amazing backdrop to upgrade your cinematic experience.
We're enjoying our jersey midi dress with a pair of trainers. Comfort meets style personified.
Romantic Dinner
We’re all about food and wine after working hard, and date night shouldn’t be any different.
Whether you’re off somewhere fancy or popping to your local for a bite to eat, there’s no reason that your outfit shouldn’t be perfect.
Drinks Straight After Work
Potentially the hardest form of date night to plan for as you don’t want to be overdressed for work, but yet you can’t be underdressed for date night.
Finding that balance can be tough so opt for something where you only have to switch out your shoes. We suggest the trusty jumpsuit – the ultimate work to bar partner.
The Surprise
If your date is planning a surprise, then… ten points to them! Thoughtful and romantic, you now need a look to match.
If clues are few and far between, our suggestion would be a midi dress – easy to style and suitable for whatever you end up doing.
