How To: Wear Sequins

Styling them isn’t always the easiest but stick with us. We’ve broken down the do’s and don’ts when it comes to wearing the trend this festive season.

That said, don’t forget to pair your new LED (Little Embroidered Dress) with your favourite heels. Go simple with stripped back black heels for a look which is fit for your next Christmas party.

Rule Two: Make It Work For The Daytime

We appreciate that this is definitely easier said than done, but don’t be afraid to opt for sequins during the daytime as well. Infact, they could be the perfect thing to see you transition seamlessly from the boardroom to the dancefloor. Case and point: the sequin skirt. 

Pair with a t-shirt and flats during the day and switch them out for heels that your feet can survive the night in, for the evening.

 

 

Rule Three: Sequins Aren’t Exclusive To Dresses 

If dresses aren’t your vibe, that’s okay. We feel you.

Trousers may well be more up your street and if that’s true, we’ve got just the pair. In a minimal black, allowing the gold sequins to pack the biggest punch, trade out the classic sequin dress for something a little more modern.

 

 

Rule Four: Don’t Be Afraid To Add A Pop Of Colour 

Sequins need not be black. Make sure your dress is the centre of attention with a very welcome pop of colour. We suggest adding a touch of red for maximum impact.
