Spotlight On: The Summer Jacket

Author Editor - 1 minute read

We get it – dressing for this pesky in-between weather comes with its trials and tribulations. From raging sunshine to overcast and dreary in one fell swoop, what you wear when you leave the house may not always be appropriate when you head home later on.

Enter our new favourite summer jacket. Lightweight, yes, but thanks to its slightly oversized cut, it’s perfect for layering and pairing with jeans and long sleeve t-shirt.

It’s Heating Up

For when the sun does decide to stick around, throw on a pair of light stone grey shorts to complete the ultimate neutral colour palette. A perfect capsule outfit built up of elements which can be mixed and matched with other current wardrobe favourites.

We’re enjoying pairing with a fun slogan t-shirt too, for a quirky twist.

For Those “What do I wear in this weather?” Days

Our answer: light wash denim. Always.

Your limbo wardrobe should comprise of pieces fit for any weather condition. Effortlessly cool in the Summer and still wearable in the winter, consider light wash denim your new best friend.

When paired with a light weight jacket, you’ve got an easy to wear, ‘I can tackle any weather condition’ outfit on your hands.

From the office to the pub garden

For those mornings when it’s too cool to venture out without a cover-up and for when the sun goes down and you’re in the pub garden, consider this your go-to jacket. Light enough that it’s not cumbersome but thick enough to be the perfect cover-up. Throw on your favourite shirt and off you go.

We'll always opt for linen.

Holiday bound

When the sea-breeze gets up in the evenings whilst on holiday, don’t be surprise if this becomes a suitcase hero. Pair with your favourite chinos and trainers for a cool off-duty look.
