As soon as the Autumn leaves began to fall in London, we instantly knew that our wardrobes needed a seasonal update.
Out are the t-shirts that we came to know and love during the warmer days, and in are transitional knits which are thick enough to keep us warm on those cooler mornings, but not so thick that you regret it when popping out at lunchtime.
Such a conundrum called for one man – Charlie Irons.
Influencer and expert in all things fashion and grooming, Charlie was our first point of call when we needed a new season wishlist compiling.
Look One
A classic crew neck jumper is a wardrobe staple. Worn with chinos and a blazer for a smarter look, or jeans and a jacket for a dressed down vibe - the perfect Autumn outfit for when the weather can’t make its mind up.
Look Two
Inject your new season wardrobe with a pop of colour that is versatile enough to see you right through the winter. Easy to style under a light jacket or coat, and looks effortless when worn with jeans, the polo shirt will quickly become your go to.
Look Three
Double the use of your wardrobe and throw on a thick shirt as a light overcoat. Charlie’s styling of our Melton Shirt got us thinking about other things that could have dual uses and we could definitely get on board with this way of truly optimising our new wardrobe.
